Nas said it first. L flipped it. This hip hop inspired t shirt was created with the emotional place of language merged with the necessity of a political message. That this message is both patriotic in the historic American sense. It is doubly so, in my opinion, due to the fact this statement comes from a black man.

On a personal note seeing Nas perform Illmatic live was an incredible experience. Hearing "It Ain't Hard to Tell" performed by the man himself only 20' or so away is one of my top 10 live music moments. He crushed it that night.
